NACNS Professional Development Committee
Specializing in Transgender and Gender Expansive affirming care, Andrew provides trainings spanning across medical systems, public health departments, academic settings, and community-based non-profit programming. After graduating with a Master’s in Multicultural Clinical Counseling in 2019, Andrew combined his over ten years of national training experience with his passion for creating accessible, affirming clinical settings, and has focused his work towards medical and public health settings. PCA and HCCN Conference, the only conference of its kind, specifically targeting both state PCAs and HCCNs. With 200–225 attendees from across the country, this conference is an opportunity for PCAs and HCCNs to identify and address issues critical to the preservation, strengthening, and growth of health centers. PCAs and HCCNs are crucial organizations that support and advance policy goals and operational excellence for nearly 1400 community health centers serving more than 28 million individuals nationally. The NADONA LTC National Conference is the largest annual meeting of nurse executives working in long-term and post-acute care.
The hotel puts a $50 per night hold on the credit or debit card presented at check-in to cover estimated incidental charges during the guest’s stay. If nothing is charged to the room in the hotel incidental charge will be sent back to the guest 3-5 business days after check out. Guests staying overnight in the Renaissance Waverly will pay $15 per night for parking. Day parking for attendees not staying overnight is $15 per day for parking. A parking tag will be given by front desk for overnight guests and given by the attendant outside during arrival hours for day parking.

This March, join colleagues for the NACNS 2022 Annual Conference, the only national conference dedicated to the clinical nurse specialist. The National Association of Community Health Centers was founded in 1971 to promote efficient, high quality, comprehensive health care that is accessible, culturally and linguistically competent, community directed, and patient centered for all. The NACHC Community Health Institute and EXPO is the largest annual gathering of health center clinicians, executives, consumer board members along with Health Center Controlled Networks and State/Regional Primary Care Associations.
In addition to the face coverings requirement, NACNS is requesting that all attendees be vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of attending the meeting. NACNS will provide an electronic attestation, confirming vaccination or negative test status in addition to adherence to the face covering policy. By submitting this attestation form, you also agree to not hold NACNS liable for any possible COVID-19 exposure as a result of traveling to or attending the conference. The Conference for Agricultural Worker Health is the only conference dedicated solely to the health and well-being of America’s migratory and seasonal agricultural workers and their families. The National Association of Community Health Centers sponsors this conference each year to bring together leaders in migrant health to learn from each other to improve the health and well-being of this population. Participation is open to to NYS Medicare CHHAs, LHCSAs and hospice providers.
Dr. Banoub is a clinical specialist in infectious diseases at the University of Maryland Medical Center . She earned her PharmD at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Pharmacy and completed her first year of residency training at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and second year infectious diseases specialty residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health. In her current position, she serves in her hospital’s Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, on inpatient Infectious Diseases consulting teams, and in an outpatient Infectious Diseases clinic.
